Welcome to our new website
Home from Home started life in 2004 in Thurlow on the outskirts of Haverhill. Based in the home of Lucy and Lewis Huelin.
The original concept was to create an environment which felt more like a home to the children but still offered more formal, structured and age related nursery activities.
Due to expansion, we moved to Exhibition Farm in Withersfield. Further developments saw the opening of Home from Home in Burton End, Haverhill.
Our nurseries are small, character settings where the children can flourish in a calm, well staffed and caring environment. Each child will be able to establish a bond with their key person and not be overwhelmed by huge numbers of other children.
The concept is the same for both nurseries and home cooked food is provided on a daily basis .The menu is changed weekly on a three week rota and is regularly updated. Healthy snacks are provided during the day and tea in the afternoon. All dietary requirements are catered for. The children are encouraged to participate in some of their own food preparation and cake and pastry making sessions are a regular feature on the program.
Both settings offer a pick up and drop off service
to surrounding homes and schools.

Our nurseries are fully OFSTED regulated, practice EYFS
All staff are Enhanced CRB checked with correct ratios of NVQ level trained staff.
